winter.

I've been on a bit of a blogging hiatus, so get ready for a binge.

This winter, I was trying as hard as I could to have a positive attitude about the season. Because I hate winter. I always have. Growing up, I hated that my birthday was in November, because I could never have a pool party to celebrate. I hate being cold. I hate wearing numerous layers of clothing. I hate the static cling that invades the long, thick mane that is my hair. The first winter I lived in Provo for school, it seemed to snow almost daily-even if it was only a few flakes. It. Was. Awful. So, this year, I decided to be positive. To focus on the beauty of falling snow. To appreciate the extra layer of warmth my garments to provide. To truly enjoy the holidays.

wore my massive hooded coat most days.

matching hoodies with Logan at the NCAA Championship watch party.

gorgeous snowy night at the temple with Whit.

moms 61st birthday!

went to Orioles fanfest with R, because I'm THAT good of a friend ;) we ran into the Chick Fil A cow, which is always a party.

while mom was in Europe and dad was in NY with Ben, I got to cat sit Raja :) it was her first time at my new house, and it took her a while to adjust. but she did eventually, and came out of hiding from underneath my bed. love her.

our last snow storm was the first week in March. i actually got the day off because Natalie's mom was home from work, so Whitney and I got to enjoy a snow day. crafting and eating and movies. the first picture i took on my walk to 7-11 for caffeine, and the second i took on the Spout Run Pkwy on the way to Nat's house. aren't those trees gorgeous?? love.

verdict: winter this year wasn't THAT bad...i may even be getting used to it :)
