This year, I wasn't sure I wanted to do anything for my birthday...For the first time in maybe 7 or 8 years, I wasn't traveling as part of my birthday and it felt weird. Also, I just wasn't really in the mood to celebrate. My friends kind of forced me to do something, and I'm glad because we had a nice time.


the day before my birthday my mom and i went to the mall and i got myself a birthday gift-a new watch from Sperry :)

my birthday was Friday the 21st, and i ended up taking the whole day off. mom and i went to the temple and did a session which was nice. when we came out i had a bunch of messages (birthday popularity) and then we tried and failed a few times to take selfies.

we had lunch at Georgia Browns and then i got my 90 minute massage (heaven) and met R for a mani/pedi. after that, i went down to Woodbridge with Mars, Whit, and Colleen to have dinner. when we got back to Arlington we put the finishing touch on my new room, which im in LOVE with.

Sunday night people came over for a little gathering-Mars made a deeeeeelicious cake and i got to see a lot of people. it was a tender time, and i am so very grateful for everyone who came to celebrate. i am actually feeling a little excited for 26 and cant wait to see what it has in store for me!

also...best birthday text award goes to Britt for sending me this gem. literally laughed out loud. love him so much.
