[recently]

soooo this post will be a ton of pics/events from April-June, so be prepared. sorry friends.

first Nats game of the year with all the friends! the second pic is me attempting to get most of us in there and clearly i failed miserably, except for Colleen creeping, the side of T's head and MJ in the back...anyway, this is my very favorite place in all the world. the end.

after Colleen and I came back from CA we went to go see the remaining cherry blossoms at the Tidal Basin. most of them were gone by this point but we found this tree that was still going strong to pose by.

new sticker for my car that i just love!

also, this.

watching softball and taking selfies.

on Easter morning we decided to go to the sunrise service that is held annually at the Lincoln Memorial. yes, its early, but when you have church at 8am, getting up even earlier wasnt that big of a deal. the sunrise was GORGEOUS and the service was very nice. i enjoyed going and it was a beautiful Easter Sunday. (like that pic of me trying to squeeze in? ha)

finally cut my hair! it had been a while...also, this was how long it still was after cutting 4 inches off, soooo that gives you an idea of how ridiculous things were getting.

missing them...this was taken when they were temple workers at the Atlanta Temple.

purple day at dance.

remember when Elder Wirthlin gave his famous "Come What May" talk in conference? and how clips of it were immediately sewn on pillows, turned into wall stickers, etc...? about a month ago i was reading it and realized once again how great of a talk it really is. very inspired and comforting. i love when our leaders encourage us to be happy and have joy in life, even when things may not be going your way. i have been trying very hard to practice this lately in my life and i have definitely seen a noticeable difference. this quote from that talk stood out to me... "The Lord compensates the faithful for every loss. That which is take away from those who love the Lord will be added unto them in His own way. While it may not come at the time we desire, the faithful will know that every tear today will eventually be returned a hundredfold with tears of rejoicing and gratitude." so good.

i just knocked out at the boys house.

cutest little human in all the world!!!

taking full advantage of the rooftop pool on the building where Heather nannies.

a bunch of us went up on a Saturday to the Beaver Dam swimming thing in Maryland. so much fun! we swung on the rope swing, played some volleyball and had a bellyflop contest, duh. such a good day.

our neighbors got burgled. yeah.

one weekend Whitney was out doing things when Heather Marissa and i didnt really have plans...so we took roommate bonding pics without her everywhere we went...at home, in the car, at target, at the mall and at Costco. lol love these girls.

my aunt Alison and grandma Price came out to visit! Aunt A and i biked the monuments, which will be a hilarious story for years to come, and we all went to Mac Grill to celebrate their birthdays early. loved having them here!

and finally...celebrated Marissa's birthday. thanks for the photobomb Michael!
