busy busy birthday time.

The third weekend of August was out of this world busy. I was going, going, going practically the whole time. Friday night we went to see Boyz II Men in concert, Saturday I had Colleen's birthday party at Beaver Dam up in Maryland, then drove down to WB for Robyn's birthday party, then back up to DC to go dancing for Colleen's birthday (part 2). And Sunday afternoon Ethan and I went out to Colleen's parents house in the country for a yummy yummy dinner. Needless to say going back to work on Monday was NOT something I was excited about doing.

YOU GUYS. i was so excited about Boyz II Men. hahahaha. it was SO FUN. we were jammin with everyone standing around us and lovin the throwback moments. i didn't take that many pics and the ones i did weren't that great-but it was still amazing. also Ethan was apparently practicing to be an FBI agent.

after we got home Colleen and Ethan helped me put my bed together because I could FINALLY move into my new room that weekend!!! so excited.

soooo Beaver Dam was VERY fun. great weather, great people, a great time. i was sad i was so busy and had to leave so soon, but it was still a great time. also, apparently i didn't take any pics except in the parking lot at the church with Colleen, haha oops!

i was so excited for R's birthday too. not only did i get to see G, who i haven't seen in FOREVER, but i also got to see Doobie, who i haven't seen in forever! love that kid. we all had a good time chillin and eatin and hula-ing. so glad my #superbestie was born! i was also sad to leave this party, but i was excited to go back to DC and dance with my girls. G and i took the glow in the dark balloons with us and they lit up my car, ha, it was so fun! and i actually ended up NOT going dancing, because by the time i got a parking spot and got in line outside the club, everyone had already been inside for over an hour and it was almost 1am, andddd we have church @8. so i ended up just leaving. but i tried!

Jaclyn and i have the same dress from Anthropologie and we somehow both end up wearing it on the same Sunday. literally its happened like 4 times. hahaha and each time we just laugh. we finally documented it.

after mandatory Sunday naps, Colleen Ethan and I drove out to her parents. its a beautiful drive and we had a really nice evening.

I am so grateful for the friends I have and for the exciting summer I've been having. It really has been a dream.
